My mum and I are Taoists but we celebrate Christmas. As a matter of fact, I get into a festive mood for Hari Raya Aidil Fitri, Deepavali and Thaipusam too. What to do? I am Malaysian and like many other Malaysians, it has become common for us to feel the festive spirit during each others' festivals.
I bought my mum the Christmas tree above for RM29.90. Our old one was very much smaller and I took it back to decorate my school library. See, my mum and I dressed it up with decorations and lights. Pretty, aint' it? Next, I'll be getting presents to put under the tree.
