The beans above are called Kacang Kuda (literally translated to mean Horse beans) but in English they are known as Chickpeas. Strange isn't it? How can the same time of being be referred to with two different type of animals? By the way, in America they are known as Garbanzo beans. These beans contain a host of things that are good for our bodies and that is why it makes great food for diabetics and individuals who are resistant to insulin.
