HENNA PLANT

The above is the Henna or Mehandi plant in my school Herb Garden. Its Malay name is Inai. In Malaysia, Hindu brides and Muslim brides would have intricate designs drawn on their hands and feet with henna. This is because Henna has an enchanting history of being considered auspicious by many old civilizations. It is used for bridal make ups, the Body Art, cosmetics and hair colouring.
