My school library will be putting up a 1Malaysia display corner and I have decided to exhibit the different traditional costumes of the various races of my country. I got two of my girls who are of Indigenous descent to weave the headgear plus sash from coconut fronds. It is interesting to learn the cultures of other Malaysians. I actually got an idea of how they weaved the ornaments but would need them to show me one more time. Maybe I might videotape the whole weaving process the next time they do it.
