Noreen Gordon and her late husband, James, won over 23 million US dollars in the Lottery in the year 2000. However things did not turn up as rosy as they had imagined after winning so much money.
It seemed that her husband died in 2006 and she had suffered 3 strokes. Worst of all is that she had 'friends' and even strangers knocking on her door asking to be given a chunk of her prize. She said that people had been coming to take advantage all the time.
So, don't be too envious of people who won lots of money? Their lives might be a living hell because of all the extra millions.
