During the Ramadhan month I always look forward to going to the different bazaars set up to sell food to the Muslims who will break their fast at sunset. Believe me, this is a very enjoyable experience. In Malaysia, it is not only the Muslims who flock to these stalls but their Chinese and Indian friends as well.
This evening, I went with Bazuaniza to the Ramadhan Bazaar near the Manjung Sports Complex. Both of us were spoilt for choice when we walked up and down the row of stalls selling all the yummy food and mouth watering drinks. I finally settled on a grilled fish, grilled fish roe, 3 pieces of roti jala with curry, 3 pieces of curry puffs, 1 packet of coconut water and another packet of jelly drink. Baz gave me two pieces of maize pudding that she made as well.
Did I managed to finish all the food? Though I did not eat anything from morning until sunset (I did drink a bit of coke in the afternoon. Heh!Heh!) and was really hungry but I only managed to eat the fish, a bite of the roe, two curry puffs, half of the pudding and the coconut water. Then my stomach went on strike. I must learn not to buy too much food as they might go to waste but everything looked so delicious and I was oh so hungry.
