YIN YANG MARRIAGE

The lady in the above picture is shown praying respects to her late fiance who died recently. The cause of his death has yet to be ascertained but my concern for this article is about her saying that she wanted to marry the father of her unborn child.
According to Chinese tradition, a living person is still able to marry someone who has passed away through an elaborate traditional marriage ceremony called a ghost marriage or Minghun. According to Chinese customs, a bride could still choose to go through with the wedding upon the death of her fiancé. In such a wedding the groom will be represented by a white cockerel at the ceremony.
