A mother bird build a nest on one of my hanging flower pots and I did not know about it until yesterday. My elderly neighbour told me about it when she came and helped to water my plants in the morning. From the above pictures you ca see the newly hatched baby birds. See they don't have feathers yet.

The Chinese believe that birds coming to lay building a nest and laying their eggs in ones home is very auspicious. The birds are a symbol of wealth, strong Qi, harmony and joy. They only go where there is food, life, and where there is enough to share.

Since the bird decided to nest in my garden that would augur well for me. Heh! Heh! There are two baby birds. Could that mean that I am getting a double dose of good wealth luck?
