When some Chinese wish to buy or rent a house, they would sometimes bring along a small child to the place as a Feng Shui barometer. If the child starts to cry and become irritable, then it is not advisable to buy or even rent the place as the energy there is full of Yin forces. If the child smiles, laughs and plays happily there, then it is a sign that the place is suitable.
My friend, Baz, would sometimes bring her little daughter YaYa to the library after school in the evening and the little girl would play happily there. The same goes to the children of the other teachers. This goes to show that the place exudes positive Yang energy.
