BIRTHDAYS AND AGE

For the Chinese and Koreans, they always add a year to their age as they calculate ones time on earth beginning from conception.
Yesterday happened to be the birthday of my colleague and friend, Ishak. Sharveen and I wished him a very happy birthday and took pictures with him.
I know that ladies are rather sensitive about telling their age. Here there are some who have reserves about revealing their age but then there some who'd announce how old they really are. There are a few who would refuse to give their age and it is not because they are afraid that people would know how old they are but rather they are afraid that some unscrupulous people might use their birthdate for some 'negative' practices. I don't think Cikgu Ishak would mind too much about telling his age. Men usually are not too secretive about how old they are.
