SADISTIC EXERCISE

My mum grimacing in pain

Trying to smile while my foot is being tortured
The masseur at work on my left foot
Aduh! Very painful

My mother was having stomach pains as she had not been able to eat much food and as a result there was a build up of gas. When I went home, she requested that I take her to a masseur to help relieve her pain.
After consulting Tuan Haji Hasnin, I took her to a foot reflexology centre as it seems that the foot massage could help to increase and improve blood circulation and also leave one feeling energised. It is supposed to help increase ones natural immune system, improve hormonal balance, detoxify and helps one sleep better.
It seems that by applying acupressure to certain points in the foot, the masseurs could help rid the body of wind and also treat quite a lot of ailments. I was game for it as my mum wasn't eating much and had trouble walking.
I got Kamariah to show me the way as I have never been there before. Haji Hasnin had to go home to take care of his young daughter as his wife had to attend a motivation course.
The moment we reached the place, there were already quite a number of clients having their foot massaged. Each session lasts about 45 minutes and costs RM 16.00 (very reasonable).
We waited for about half an hour before it was our turn. Believe me! It was a very painful experience and I think I'd give it a miss the next time I send my mum. Actually, I have come up with a very devious plan to torture my enemies - just send them for the foot massage, videotape them in pain and then post the clip on You Tube. Sadistic, eh?
Our body has many channels and networks which carry our life force around. This life force is commonly known as Qi (or Chi). This life force ensures that each component of your body works well and effectively.
When disturbance, blockage or interruption on the smooth flowing of Qi occurs, it will inevitably affect your body, as well as its related organs and functional systems.
The Tuina Therapies work on your meridians and acu-points, stimulating Qi movement to unblock whatever blockage lying in their ways.
Using the same principles as massaging, when applied on the correct meridian and acu-points, you can stimulate Qi flow and remove the blockages.
