Like Susan Boyle, Paul Potts (pictured above) stunned the judges and audience during his audition for the Britain's got talent competition with his singing abilities.
Here is another example of how ones image deceived others. When he first came out on stage, you could see that the judges were not impressed by him. He had crooked teeth, looked nervous and was far from looking anything like Brad Pitt. When he said he was going to sing opera, the judges thought that they might be getting one of those William Hung types who was thought that they had talent. Well, shock them did Paul and today this ex mobile phone salesman is a world famous tenor. Shows that dreams do really come true and that we cannot be overly cynical about others.
