I CAN DO IT

I am glad to report that I am able to edit videos already. My products are not too good but I have managed to master quite a lot of techniques. I am sure with practice, I will become better.

How did I do it? Well, like in the Chinese Kung Fu movies, the Big Sifu would go into seclusion in a cave to practise until he/she has mastered whatever skill they wanted to acquire. I did almost the same. For four consecutive nights, (Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday) I'd lock myself in my study and sit in front of the computer and try to edit the videos taken by my colleagues and students for various happenings in my school. Mind you, I started at around 8.00 p.m. and only went to sleep at around 3.30 a.m. Thank goodness, my effort was worth it.
I have still more skills and tricks of the trade to learn but once I have mastered the basics, the rest would not be so hard.

After I complete the 91 videos for my school (with the help of my other colleagues), I will definitely make sure I have enough sleep so that my eyes would not be puffy and swollen anymore. A visit to the beautician would also be in my agenda.

In the above pictures, my friends and I were in school this morning to work on the Corporate Video for our school. Kamariah and Khairiah helped me with the storyboard and the script writing. Daniel will be helping me to edit the video for the School Sports. At the rate all of us are going, we might end up producing a play for our school. Wouldn't that be lovely?
