There are certain days in the lunar month which are referred to as San Niang Sha days三娘热日. The days are the 3rd, 7th, 13th, 18th, 22nd and 27th of each lunar month. These days are unfavourable for marriages. It is said that those born on such dates might encounter a lot of obstacles in life. The lady in the above picture happens to be born on such a date.
