GETTING WHAT WE DESERVE

The Chinese believe that we will be duly rewarded for work that we do. In the above picture, my colleagues and I are being tutored on how to edit videos by the Education Technology Officer from our zone. For your information, two of the teachers were not chosen for the course but they volunteered to come for it in order to learn how to produce better videos for our school. For your information, they attended the first workshop on Monday from 8.00 a.m. to 5.15 p.m. and today's tutorial was from 3.00 to 5.30 p.m. No, my friends and I will not be paid extra and neither will we get anything (only the skills on editing videos) but somehow our good work would be recorded down by some heavenly beings and we would be rewarded for it. It might be that we would be blessed with good health, a happy family or that things would go smoothly for us.
On the other hand, there might be some people who would put on a show when their superiors are around but once these people have left, they might go slow and some even do their own things. They reason that since no one knows then they will get away with not doing what they are supposed to do. My Muslims friends told me that they believe that we would be made to pay back the amount of money that we receive for any work that we have not done but was given payment. Same goes for the Chinese. We believe that there are Beings watching our every move and recording them down. Say if we are supposed to work 8 hours but instead we steal three hours each day to conduct our own direct selling, then somehow we would have to pay back in some form or other what we did not earn. For example, we or our family members might fall ill and we need to spend a lot of money on medical expenses.
We might not be aware of it but there are times when we make use of our work time to do our own things and so a bit of the money we earn does not really belong to us. One thing to do to make sure that the money we earn is what we really deserve is to give an amount of money to some charitable course each month or to donate it to the temple, church or mosque.
