GETTING READY FOR LUP CHUN

Hanging a metallic windchime to control the Illness Star in the West of the House
Placing something red in the northeast to contain the quarrelsome star
My Arrowhead corms beginning to sprout shoots just in time to welcome spring
When flowers begin to bloom at the start of lup chun, it symbolises growth
My baby roses beginning to bloom

Tomorrow is lup chun day. For the Chinese, this is the first day of spring and many consider this to be the start of the new year. When plants start to grow or to flower during this time, it is a good sign.
Under the Flying Stars Feng Shui, it is believed that the number 1 to 9 stars would be changing places for the year. The South which was deeply afflicted in the year of the Rat would enjoy good feng shui as the number 4 Literary and Romance Star will be residing here for the year.
Like other Feng Shui practitioners, I got busy this morning to reorganise the Feng Shui cures in my house. I am not too worried about the activators for the good positions as the energy there is already good. One needs to use the places more to reap the benefits. What worrries me are the places afflicted with the 5 Yellow, the Number 2 Illness Star, the Number 3 Quarrelsome Star and the Number 7 Burglary Star.
