Tonight many Chinese in Malaysia who are of the Taoist faith will be getting ready to welcome the God of Wealth or Cai Xin. According to the Tong Shu or the Chinese Almanac, the Wealth God will make an appearance from the Eastern direction and the time of his arrival is estimated to be from 3.00 to 4.00 a.m. Above are some of the offerings that will be used to welcome Cai Xin.
