BLESSING IN DISGUISE

It is times when we are in trouble that we find out who our real friends are. Well, I discovered that the proverb "A friend in need is a friend indeed" holds true in my case as quite a number of my friends have come forward to give assistance to me and offer kind words of consolation.
On the first night at home after I discovered that my house was broken into, my neighbours, Mr and Mrs Ooi offered to let me stay in their house as the latch for my backdoor was spoiled by the burglars. They were worried for my safety. My other next door neighbour is now helping me to lock my front gate each morning after she helps water the plants in my garden. Two of my friends even paid for my food at the canteen.
As can be seen in the above photos, my friend Cikgu Zaki came to help me weld back my back gate. He came with my other friend, Cikgu Ishak Salasa. Today they will come again to help me put more latches on the wooden door. Before that my friend, Tuan Haji Ahmad Hasnin, his wife and daughter came to my house to see how I was and his wife said thank goodness I was not at home at that time. A few of the teachers and staff also are more worried for my safety and keep giving me safety advice. The Ustazah said that me losing the electronic equipment is a blessing in disguise for me as I get to sleep early and give my eyes a rest.
