According to Feng Shui, lavender promotes good health and happiness. When processed into an essential oil, it is said to be an instant energy refresher. It is used as a healing oil for tension, stress, anxiety, depression, headaches and insomnia. It is supposed to help build self confidence and esteem.
Some feng shui enthusiasts say that dried flowers are a no-no to have in the house because they are dead flowers and give off yin energy but the lavender is a great feng shui flower that many people keep them in their houses in the dried form ever so often. Personally, I think it is okay to have potpourri or dried flowers in the house. What harm can they do? That is provided that the flowers are well-preserved and look attractive. Besides, aren't all the wooden furniture made from dead plants? Imagine having a whole house made from wood? Would that constitute bad energy? Just ask yourself and come up with your own conclusions ...
