This post is in answer to a query by Spring about the placement of a statue of Confucius or Master K'ung that she has received. Where to place a statue of this referred Chinese philosopher who is outstanding for his teachings on moral and politics?
For your information, K'ung Zi is worshipped by the Taoist as a deity and in this case the place for Him would be the altar. For those who are using it as a Feng Shui symbol to usher in education luck and also wisdom, they should try placing the statue in the northwest (the place of the father) or a suitable place in the living room or study. Please do not place the statue on the floor, in the garden or in the toilet as this is a show of disrespect.
