I have read often enough of some Feng Shui masters advising their followers to place an amethyst cave under the marital bed to prevent the spouse from straying. Well, here is not much feedback on how effective that is but I have found out about the other powers that this gem is said to possess.
The amethyst is believed to induce peace, serenity and temperance in the wearer. In addition, it is supposed to restrict sensual and alcohol intoxication. Well for seekers
of sensuality, I think they would most certainly shy away from wearing this gem. Wearing this stone is also said to protect one from deceit.
Believe it or not but I have read that wearing the amethyst is said to help improve ones skin and hair. It is also said that wearing the amethyst will also prevent baldness.
