HOW TO EAT THE SKY FRUIT

I had been wanting to try the sky fruit for some time but shied away from it as the traders at the market were selling the fruit for an exorbitant price. However, my opportunity came yesterday when I went to the market two days ago. The fruit was being sold at a rather cheap price by a travelling trader - RM3 each. I bought two and took them home.
My sister helped to break open the fruit for me yesterday afternoon and I then removed the seeds from the fruit. I tasted one and believe me, it was really, really bitter. I actually bought it for my mum as the trader said that it was a cure for gastritis and my mum has been having gastric pains for the past week.

Hi Sam,
Thanks for writing in. I am afraid to say that my mum did not take to the Sky fruit. She took it once and said it was bitter. She prefers to eat the medication given by her specialist.

Hi, did you continue eating this sky fruit? Is it good? I see that you bought it at a cheap price. I saw people selling it at the pasar malam at a price of rm10 per packet. I was about to buy it but I didn't because I want to do more research about this sky fruit seed. It would be good if you can reply me. =)

Thanks.
