MID AUTUMN FESTIVAL IS COMING

If you see all the things above then that means the Mid Autumn or Lantern Festival is not far away. It doesn't appear to be so cheerful as the prices of things seem to have escalated. I had a look at the lanterns and they are not cheap. A small simple one is about RM4.50 and the big intricate ones cost very much more. If we purchase mooncakes from the departmental stores or the restaurants then be prepared to pay more for them. Those in the market that I posted above are much cheaper but many people say that they are not as delicious as the 'branded' ones. Me? I only like those that my Aunt May makes.
