LOSING WEIGHT WITH FENG SHUI???

Exercise is still the best bet for a slimmer you!

A couple of weeks ago, Spring asked if there was any Feng Shui tips to lose weight and I had mentioned that there was none and the best way was through exercise and dieting. Well, I came across an article recently about using Feng Shui to lose weight. I am sharing it here with you but I must make it clear that I still maintain that exercise and dieting are still the most effective methods.

Kitchen – Weight loss help ! This is the place where the food is prepared and kept. We know that when you are hungry, this is the place you look for food. It is dvisable not see the kitchen directly from the front door. The first view from your front door should not be the kitchen, you should be focusing on the direction where it is attractive to you. Alternatively, use some decorations like saloon doors or Japanese style curtain to obscure your view of the kitchen. Your choice of food should be for vitality and health, this can be done by placing a bowl of fresh fruit on the kitchen table.

Colour – Weight loss help ! Colour does affect your appetite for food. Eating with a black or blue plate subconsciously diminishes your appetite. Use these colour plates for dinner. The type of colour tablecloth is said to be able to curb your eating appetite. To do this, place a dark table cloth on the table in the evening, it is advisable to put it on after lunch. By placing blue or black near, around or on the refrigerator can defer eating. Red colour is stimulating. Red Colour tablecloths are used by restaurants to stimulate eating appetite. Nevertheless, if placing red in your surroundings with the intention of keeping your body activated and your energy smouldering can be beneficial as well. Clever use of colour to help weight loss.

De-clutter – Weight loss help! De-cluttering of the home will unintentionally activate the movement of your body parts. We can do de-cluttering activity as a form of exercise to help in weight loss. Certain areas in your home are bound to have a pile of bulky items that need to be removed. Start to get those items cleared. This will subconsciously exercise your body and help in weight loss. Those things that remind us of weight gain should be thrown away, also get rid of those items that make us feel tired and unmotivated. According to house bagua area, the center of the house is the health area, make sure this area is clear of clutter to help you in your weight loss.

Food – Weight loss help! You do not need to go on a diet. To lose weight, selection of food have to be prudent. We should not take in too much food with little chi value. Food with negative chi does not benefit the physical activity and it does not help in your weight loss. Bright coloured food should be a larger portion with only 1/3 of that of neutral coloured food. There is little chi value in a plate of pasta compared to a bowl of veggies. Think and do some 'intending' prior to eating. Visualise that the food you eat will simply pass through your body and not stay there. Being conscious in the moments before eating can set up a positive spiral that stays throughout the meal and maybe even linger after. Make eating a sacred ritual. Decorate the table with fresh flowers and use the best china for all your meals.

Goal Setting – Weight loss help! Weight loss cannot be achieved overnight. Be realistic and safe. Choose an idol whose body type that you desire. Have your face glued to this body type. Aiming to lose about 1-2 lbs of weight a week is ideal for keeping the weight off and maintaining it. A home with a very relaxing and quiet mood, is a home filled with yin energy. Infuse some yang energy to keep you moving. Play Latin dance music to get your feet moving or spray the home with citrus scents. Add a few drops of lemon essential oil in a diffuser with spring water.
