HELPING HANDS

I got a short message text from Puan Lee last night. She informed me that the character that I had typed for the word festival in Mid Autumn Festival 中秋節was not correct but she was rather worried that I would be embarrassed if she pointed it out.
Well, she really doesn't have to worry so much as I welcome such help. After all Mandarin is her forte and I really appreciate it. My friend, Eric, helps to correct my Mandarin all the time and he is none the worse for it. Even when I am blogging in English, I do make mistakes especially in typing and spelling. My friends, Kamariah and Hasnin, help to point out the mistakes too. So, I need all the helping hand that I could. Keep on helping me. Thanks in advance.
Just in case your are wondering why I am pictured in the school library with the lantern, let me fill you in. The butterfly lantern is for my god-daughter, Nurin. I bought it for her from Ipoh on Saturday. She had seen one in Sitiawan, when I went shopping with her, but the departmental store was selling it for RM6.50. I had seen a similar one in Ipoh costing only RM4.20 and so I told her I'd get it for her when I went home for the weekend.
