When I was at the market this morning, the front page of the New Life Post 新生活报 (dated 6/9/2008) caught my attention. The headline was about using cosmetic surgery to become rich (整容发达). The question appearing on the front page read "Does changing ones look enable one to become prosperous (改相可以发达吗?)?" Apparently the answer is YES, if you go by what was written in the magazine article. It was stated that those who tried it said it worked (已经有人试验成功).
The above pictures of what is deemed as facial features that would bring wealth luck to a person were taken from the magazine - luck bringing eyebrows, lucky nose. wealth inviting lips and prosperous face (so we now know that a face shape like Jackie Chan's 成龙 is prosperous).
I have already done a couple of blogs about a few Korean actresses going under the knife to try to become more beautiful and also a Chinese man who wanted to look like Daniel Wu to please his girlfriend. And now, I read of quite a number of businessmen who seek the help of cosmetic surgeons to give them 'wealth generating' features. Now that ladies and gentlemen, is an example of REALLY desiring to become rich. I take my hat off to them.
To all the men reading this article, are you WILLING to change your looks by going under the knife to become successful?
