There are many articles in the newspapers and Internet alluding to Louis Koo's tan. It is said that since Louis Koo Tin-Lok (古天樂) changed his image by getting an extreme tan (which he is famous for), he has had much success in his career.
Well, I read that a fortune teller told him that tanned skin would bring him lots of luck and success. He followed the advice and after he changed his colouring, his career luck became better. Was it coincidence? Or was the fortune teller's prediction accurate? We can't really be certain but it certainly seems to work for Louis Koo and that is why he spends a lot of time and money to make sure that he keeps his tan. I read in an Internet article that it costs about US$180 to get a tan for each session. And here we are in Malaysia trying to use all types of cream and face wash to become fairer. Not to mention the umbrellas, hats and caps!
