MAKING MY DAY

I met two of my former students while I was having a meal with my friend, Kamariah, and her daughter, Nurin, at MacDonalds this evening. The girl, Safarina, was working there part-time. She had just completed her studies at a local university and was biding time before she reported for training at the Police Academy. My boy student, Syed, is working as a Quality Control Inspector.
They were the ones who approached both Kamariah and I, informing us that we once taught them. Well, as teachers we feel happy that both our students have done well in their studies and are working professional jobs. That has made my day and put a smile on my face. And that ladies and gentlemen is what happiness or xing fu is about.
