MONEY TREE: PACHIRA

I sometimes see decorative feng shui trees with coins hanging from it at Feng Shui shops. During Chinese New Year we get to see quite a number being displayed in shops. But do you know that that there is actually one plant that is known as money tree?
The money tree is actually a plant called Pachira. The Pachira is supposed to be a plant that will bring good luck and money into your home. It is originally found in Central America.
These Pachira plants range in height from a few inches to seven feet. The plants have a figure of thick trunks, and thin branches with five big green leaves on the top, like human hands with five fingers. Also their trunks are twisted.
They make great auspicious gifts to our friends and realtives. Try buying the Pachira as a gift for the grand opening of a business premise, house warming and home Feng Shui improvement. If you bring a Pachira home, you already possess a treasure.
Personally I'd buy the plant for my home for aesthetic reasons and not only for Feng Shui reasons as it looks so pretty.
