KEEPING EVIL SPIRITS AT BAY

I learnt about this method on how to protect the house from evil spirits from some of my colleagues. It is believed that sprinkling salt around the entire perimeter of the outside of the house will keep bad spirits out (and at the same time also kill your snails). Inside the house, one should fill a jar with uncooked rice and store it away in a cabinet in the kitchen, this will assure that one will never go hungry.
