The Chinese name for the herb pictured above is Chuen Yuen. The Chinese have been using it to treat eye related problems for a long, long time and I have this plant at home in Ipoh and also in the school Herb Garden. It is relatively easy to grow and does not need much care.
All one needs to do is to pluck the leaves and then sort of mesh it up a bit and then apply to the eye. It is especially soothing for conjunctivitis. I read somewhere that a man who have been using the leaves to apply to his eyes and also drinking water boiled with the leaves have reported that his eyesight has improved.
