This year I taught my librarians to make the gift for their teachers on Teacher's Day. I feel this is more meaningful as they did it on their own. After today more than half the librarians know how to make daffodils using origami folding techniques. Also the daffodils that the students folded were made into cards to be present for the principal. They made one for the senior assistant since he heads the resource centre working committee.
Those students who try as they might could never seem to be able to fold the flower were not left out. They folded the stems for the flowers. Ming Shen who is totally not craft-savvy typed the poem and also pasted the flowers on to the cards for the teachers.
