Astronomy was a science practised by the ancient Chinese whereby there is a need to study any changes in energy fields as the planets rotate into new positions after a yearly cycle. Somewhat akin to an invisible system of gears constantly turning and fitting together to trigger mechanisms, the planets' movements affect our way of life. The ancient feng shui masters were keen observers of the natural cycles as a way to survive natural disasters like floods, earthquakes, typhoon, etc. These masters were astrologers who studied celestial movements as they related to terrestrial and human events. By gathering data, keeping records and charts, the astrologers were able to use empirical data to predict future events. For thousands of years the Chinese government relied on the accuracy of these observations and calculations as sort of a crystal ball to tide through bad times.
This month the world have seen the destruction done by the Cyclone in Myanmar and the earthquake in Chinese. The death toll for the Myanmar Cyclone is estimated around 100,000 and the fatalities for the earthquake is about 12,000. Could it be because the disaster struck areas were located in sectors that had unfavourable stars. Were they situated at the South of the country where there are quite a number of inauspicious stars? I do not know the exact location of the places and dare not say if they were in an area which is doomed for disaster as far as the stars are concerned.
What is important now is that aid must be given to the survivors to help them tide through the coming days. Not only do they have to deal with loss of loved ones and property but they would have to battle with emotional problems as a result of their ordeal.
Read the extract of an article below about using Flying Stars Feng Shui as a forecasting tool by Master Georgia Kiafi:
Feng Shui has gained great popularity during the last decade in the West, where it is considered as a tool to increase harmony and prosperity.
However Feng Shui is also a powerful tool in forecasting events, such as natural disaster, wars, or even the ups and downs of cities and whole countries.
According to Flying Stars Feng Shui, there are 9 types of energies (stars) that change position following a certain pattern that is identical to the magic Lo Shu square. As this pattern oc changing energies is predetermined, one can predict what type of energy is located at a certain direction during a certain period of time.
When a concentration of negative energies are gathered in one direction, then misfortune is expected, the type of which depends on the nature of these energies.
