WHAT I LEARNT FROM THE FENG SHUI TALK

Below are notes that I jotted down from attending the 2008 Feng Shui Outlook given by Master Jason Eng on Sunday, 27th January, 2008 from 2.00 until 5.00 p.m
  1. 2008 is the year of the Earth Rat. Feng Shui practitioners follow the Hsia calendar and this means the Rat year officially begins on 4th February at 7.03 p.m.
  2. The Outlook for 2008 indicates a year that is not stable. According to the Feng Shui pillars for the year, the five elements are not complete. There is no metal or fire in the pillars. Since there is quite a number of earth in the pillars, this would indicate that there is lots of wealth luck in 2008. There is also a Star of Spirituality this year. Earth disasters are predicted. The clash of water and earth indicates political and international conflict. Missing fire and metal elements means there is lack of creativity, intelligence and power.
  3. There is no spring since the Chinese New Year starts on the 7th of February.
  4. Health problems for the year are related to the stomach. Beware of food poisoning and diarrhoea.
  5. Cures for the violent 7 star in the Southwest: put water, use blue things, use a blue rhinoceros or elephants with raised trunks. All these should be placed outside the house. (Note: Elephants with trunks down are used for activating descendant luck.)
  6. Second half of 2008 is better than the first half.
  7. Cures for 5 yellow in the South: 5 element pagoda, wealth windmill, 6 rod windchime, big metal fan.
  8. Cures for 3 killings in the South: Chi Lin and Fu Dog.
  9. Must think big to get big gains.

I have not put in a lot of the notes I took, especially the ones on the Flying stars and their palaces, as I have posted them before at the beginning of the month. You just need to go to previous posts to locate the articles. Tomorrow, I will share with you the tips given by Jason for ushering in the Chinese New Year. Please come again.
