THE GRAND DUKE JUPITER

This year the Grand Duke Jupiter or Tai Sui Xing Jun sits in the North-east direction. The dominating Tai Sui for the Ding Hai year of the pig is General Feng Qi. Any Feng Shui enthusiast worth his or her salt would know that it is taboo to sit facing the North-east direction as it is considered to be in confrontation with Tai Sui. Any digging, demolition or construction work is taboo here. Anyone who insists on doing so would be inviting trouble and unneccessary bad luck.
People born under the following animal signs in the years specified below are either clashing or in conflict with Tai Sui. Those in direct conflict are those born in the year of the pig, those in mutual conflict are the Snakes, those inpartial conflict are those born in the Monkey year and those in punishment conflict are the Tigers. One good advice would be for them to go to the temples or shrines to offer prayers to him. This is one long held Taoist practice that has been carried out for hundreds if not thousands of years. As a matter of fact this dated back to the time around the end of the Yin dynasty and the beginning of the Zhou dynasty.
The people born in the years below are more deeply conflicted than the rest of those in conflict with Tai Sui Xing Jun.
Monkey (1956), Snake (1965), Tiger (1974), Pig (1983, 1923), Monkey (1992, 1932), Snake (2001, 1941).

Those not in conflict can also pray to Tai Sui to ask for his blessings to ensure a smooth sailing year and also good fortune.
