FENG SHUI TIPS

  1. Hang two, six or seven bells strung with red thread on your doorknob to activate wealth and luck for your business.
  2. Fresh air and sunlight are the best cure for moldy, stale qi in the bathroom. If you have windows, do open them daily and allow in the sunlight.
  3. Cranes are auspicious images of a long, fruitful life. Place a crane figurine in the areas where you and family spend most of your time together.
  4. Don't install any water features and spiky plants such as cacti in sleeping areas as they are considered bedroom Feng Shui no-nos.
  5. Hanging a coin sword is very auspicious in generating Wealth luck, but do not hang two swords or knives in a criss-cross fashion.
  6. Do not injure or kill a snake that takes up residence in property. Catch and release it instead to instill good karma
  7. Do not cut any trees or remove any hills or mounds from the Northwest area of your home, for this represents protection for you and your family.
  8. For the sick and ailing, remember to decorate his or her bedroom with flowers and plants for a dose of yang energy.
