I spotted these two bamboo shoots growing near the Science lab and decided to harvest them for my meal.
So I got my two boys, Vasan and Iman to help me to dig them out.
Dig Vasan did but the soil was hard and the shoot refused to budge.
Then it was Iman's turn with the shears but still the shoot couldn't be harvested.
The Vasan tried again. Unfortunately no amount of digging worked. So they had to use the shears to cut the visible part of the shoot. Anyway I will get to it it today.
