VERY SICK LITTLE KITTEN

Afiq, Shafiq and I had a very harrowing experience this morning. We picked up one of the kittens which was in a bad state from the drain. The eye had a big glob of whitish substance. It was very hard and try as we might to remove it we couldn't. All three of us tried to remove it and finally when it came to my turn, the glob came out together with the eyeball. The boys and I were horrified and we quickly asked permission to take the kitten to the vet.

The vet said that the eye was already badly injured and if we had brought it with the glob, he might have to surgically remove it too. He now had to anesthetize it to clean the wound, cut out some skin and sew back the wound. The charge is RM150. Now the kitten is at the vet and we will be able to get it back at 5 p.m. Aiyoh. Poor Kitty has become a KKU (Kucing Kurang Upaya). We at the resource centre promised that we will take good care of the kitten and make it our mascot.
