BONUS FOR MALAYSIAN CIVIL SERVANTS

10/10 Budget 2015: Civil servants bonus - half a month (mininum RM500) to be paid in January; pensioners given special financial aid of RM250/STAR

This was the piece of announcement that many civil servants in Malaysia were looking forward to.  This would be timely for parents with school and college going children; as the beginning of the year would mean the need to buy books and other necessities for the new school term.
