Strawberry is the unofficial symbol of Cameron Highlands. When I think of this place, I always associate it with strawberries. When Lai Yoong told her tenant she went there recently, the young lady said that if she had known she would have asked auntie to buy her strawberry shaped cushions. Se, people think of this berry when they think of the highlands.
I saw this lovely strawberry mats at our first shopping stop, the shop sold it at RM25.90. Then as we went higher up the highlands, the price went as low as RM17.
