In the picture above is a packet of kacang putih. When translated into English it literally means 'white nuts'. However here in Malaysia Indian snack food is generically known as Kacang Putih and not only the ones shown above.When we say Kacang Putih it can mean any of of variety of Indian snacks like Muruku, Pakoda, Sivel, Aulu, Kacang Parang, Omma poddi and groundnuts.
