During the weekend, I went back to Ipoh with Lai Yoong. When we reached Sitiawan in the evening after spending our weekend in our hometown, Lai Yoong and I headed straight for the Kuan Yin Temple in Lumut. They are having a 3-day festival to celebrate the birthday of the Goddess of Mercy. After paying our respects at the main temple, we went to the side of the temple where vegetarian food was served. This food is sponsored by well-wishers and all who go to the temple are invited to eat.
