THINKING OF AMIR ON KUAN YIN'S BIRTHDAY

I told Amir's mummy and siblings that today is his birthday and they all corrected me in unison that it was not. They said that Amir was born on August 4. They are of course right but so am I. I can remember the day that he was born was when I was celebrating the Birthday of the Goddess Kuan Yin which was on the 19th day of the 6th lunar month. From that time onwards, whenever I celebrate Kuan Yin's birthday, I remember Amir. I also make it a point to go see him on this day.
