When I was back in Ipoh on Saturday I had Siamese Laksa from Ling Jie again. This time around I requested for beehoon instead of laksa noodles. To me the beehoon absorbs the laksa kuah better and gives it that extra oomph. The kuah or soup was thicker this time around and so much tastier. If you happen to be in Ipoh, do go to the San Kam Wan Coffee Shop in Ipoh Garden (it is next to the gourmet square) to try Ling Jie's Siamese laksa. Her Penang Laksa is just as delicious.
