Lai Yoong and I went to the Thrangu Dharma Retreat Center in Tambun last Sunday to meet our new friend, Madam Lee Lai Keen. We went at around 1.15 p.m. and found that she and her friends were taking part in a a prayer ceremony performed for individual devotees. These devotees had put forward their problems to the Lama.
When the ceremony was over, Madam Lee told us that they had successfully completed the 2 statues earlier than expected and that was why they were having the thanksgiving. You can see pictures of the completed statues below. Really exquisite.

She and her committee are in the course of planning the next phase which is painting and drawing.
