NYONA KAYA (NYONYA COCONUT AND EGG JAM)



Before I left Malacca, my Ku Ma (paternal aunt) gave me a small container of Nyonya Kaya.  Little did I realise that this is one of the most delicious kaya that I have ever tasted. The taste and the texture. Finest nyonya cooking skills. If I am not mistaken, this kaya is made with gula Melaka, a coconut palm sugar that originates from Malacca, Malaysia.
