The Kallumalai Murugan Temple in Ipoh has been under renovation for a few years. A couple of weeks ago, I went with Aunt Linda and Lai Yoong to check out the place.
Actually we could see that the place was almost done and that the workers were making the finishing touches. From afar it looked very attractive, on closer look it was exquisite. The richness of colour and the life-like sculptures were really a sight to behold.
This artist is from India. We were told that most of the workmen came from India.
This nice uncle is a temple committee member and he came and chatted with us about the renovation of the place. It will be ready on the fourth of July.
My aunt and I posed for a picture with this 83 year old uncle. I forgot his name.
