In Chinese the Orange Jessamine (Murraya paniculata) is known as 七里香 [Chit Li Heong meaning "fragrance can be smelt 7 miles away). Rightly so, as when the flowers are in bloom, their fragrance fills the air for quite a distance.
In the pictures below are my Orange Jessamine plant in bloom. In Malay, it is known as Kemuning. A folk belief is that this plant has links with the mystic world.
