that I know for this problem is the Larger Rheo or Kerang Nenas. The herbal concoction is easy to make. You can use the leaves or flowers (or both). Wash and put to boil. Add brown sugar. Tastes delicious.

The Chinese use the fresh flowers and flower bracs by boiling them as soup (usually with pork) or a drink (with brown sugar), for reducing body heatiness, relieving sore throat, and heaty cough.
