Today is the actual Cheng Beng day but I won't be going to the memorial park to pay homage to my late parents as I expect a lot of people there. Instead I will be going tomorrow. In the morning, I went to the paper paraphernalia shop in town to buy paper offerings.
I am sharing pictures of some of the prayer paraphernalia sold there. There are shoes, money (in the millions and even billions), clothings and other household items which are all made from paper. Says a lot about the Chinese, right? Even in death, money rules.
